17. The Path
The Path
There is only one thing God is incapable of doing... dying.
Live your life with the knowledge that you will always be alive. You are never going to die. When you leave your physical body, a new one replaces it in your next reality. In the eternal life, you will be surrounded by others of similar character to you, in an environment reflective of your nature.
Do you want to exist like you do now, forever?
Nothing is going to change the quality of your life but you. You should immediately seek to improve yourself in any way possible. You have a tremendous destiny on the path of improvement. Why would you wait?
There are three main ways to improve yourself and attain better states of existence:
1. Inspiration - Seek higher knowledge in any manner possible, whether through teachings, spiritual practices, or sacred plant medicines.
2. Aspiration - The greatest weakness is to admit no weakness. Practice brutal self-honesty to improve your character. Seek counseling and other forms of therapy.
3. Perspiration - Apply your increasing awareness to the situations in life that challenge you most. Seek to be helpful and reliable to others, whether it be in your work, family, or casual encounters.
Most real change happens slowly. Never assume you are done with a problem. You may relapse many times before it is resolved. This world will give you every chance to fail if you allow it.
Do not harbor anger towards those people in our world who seek to corrupt and use us. In doing so, they only doom themselves to living on the lowest planes of existence. They behave in a low manner because it is all they know... forever going in and out of hellish realities, where they only have each other to abuse. It is for this reason that they so greedily seek to possess the beautiful things of earth.
They often have no idea that higher states of existence are even possible for them, do not feel brotherly love, and attempt to marginalize those of us who do.
Do not let them drag you down to their realms. Instead, practice forgiveness towards them. The suffering they cause us is only temporary, so long as we don't become like them. We should feel concerned for the sad condition of their existence and seek to be an example to them. Humanity only evolves as all beings living on its many planes evolve.
